Version 48 is slow in general

Google take longer to appear and search. Websites are slower. Google maps slow, satellite view. Adobe flash slow. Facebook pictures endless scrolling gets slow. Addins i used to use are now banned.

If you compare load speed VS Opera and Edge its slow. Google VS Opera and Edge its slow. maps VS Opera and Edge its slow. Facebook pics i can go through 1200 in a scrolling list with Opera, then opera gets sluggish. Can do 300 with Firefox but stutter and blank boxes having to wait to load/infill. If you try google maps on opera, panning around has no lag or blank bits.

Each new version of Firefox since 36 has been worse. Also this is installed on a new install of windows, no upgrades or synk profile refresh no effect.

I have BT 75meg fibre with 6ms ping. Core i7 with 32gig ram. 980GTX. Samsung 1tb 850 pro. Win 10 pro 64. 360 total security essentials, bit defender virus activated only.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
