how we can download all the attachments at once in a mail for the following cases-:

1. Download each and every single attachment available in inbox, at once. 2. First select some Emails in inbox, and then only for those mails, download all attachments available at once.

That would work, if attachments were like you think of them as files. They are not. They are a text stream in the body of the email. So when Thunderbird downloads an email, all attachments come with it.

Now if you want to detach the attachments, that is possible. See https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/attachmentextractor/
