At some point all my file (MS Office) extensions changed to .html and says Firefox html document, and the proper application will not open the appropriate file. I am moving to a new computer and need to save all my files and move them to the new computer. How do I get all my files back to the correct extension to open them?

hi djdodd13, this problem won't be related to firefox - it has no functionality to tamper with your office files, so we will likely not be set-up to help you with that issue. unfortunately changing file extensions are often a symptom of crypto-locker extortionware...
