how do i stop emails to me bouncing back
A client trys to email but keeps getting their email bounced back with "This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
paul@xxxxxxx.com retry timeout exceeded"
They try with personal email and it works. This happens when they try to contact anyone in the company. Any advice?

Thunderbird has no facility to reject email. Email providers servers reject messages. Contact your provider.
