Flash freezes when I open a new tab

Hello,

I have a problem that recently accord. When I play a game, which uses adobe flash, at first the game works fine. But when I open a new tab, or open a second window, and then return to the tab with the game. It is not responding any more. I cannot click on or move anything. After refreshing the page it works again until I open a new tab and the story starts again.

I have updated both Firefox as Adobe flash to the latest versions.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Firefox 54? Why aren't you using the stable Firefox 53? Have you tried that? :)

Note that such issues can be related to async drawing.

You can check for issues related to async drawing and try out if changing these prefs on the about:config page has effect.

  • dom.ipc.plugins.asyncInit.enabled (false)
  • dom.ipc.plugins.asyncdrawing.enabled (false/true)
  • layers.allow-d3d9-fallback (true)
