Would like to have duplicate copy thunderbird on laptop

My main TB email is on PC, but I would like duplicate copy on laptop to take places. EMail on PC has some data not under profiles, but in My Documents for backup. I need same email accounts, local folders, contacts, distrib lists, and message filters on laptop-- I have TB on laptop now but all those are set differently. I have laptop set to not take anything off server, only the main PC email. Appreciate any advice.

Backup the Thunderbird profile on the desktop computer. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_backing-up-a-profile

And restore it on the laptop. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_restoring-a-profile-backup
