Have Windows 10. Myxfinity.com does plays sound but not video in 'Today in Video'
The website for Comcast has news/videos. Opening a video plays the sound but not the video. Comcast said the issue is Firefox since the video plays in Chrome. Must be a setting issue. Help please.

The page is probably whitelisted. Click the AdBlock Plus icon and choose 'Filter Preferences' from the menu. Uncheck 'Allow non-intrusive advertising' and that should take care of it.

What about other websites? Any problems?
See if there are updates for your graphics drivers https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
I have not seen this issue with other websites. I have the latest Windows 10 updates.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). While you are in safe mode;
Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Then restart. Poke around safe websites. Are there any problems?
As you suggested, I went into Safe Mode and the video worked. I exited and re-opened Firefox. I then went to Options, Advanced, unchecked hardware acceleration but the issue returned.
It could be the work of one of your add-ons. Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.
Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.
Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is, detective.
Seems to be related to Adblock Plus. I disable it on the page and the video worked one time. But when I exit Firefox and reload it, and disabled AdBlock again it did not work. I reported the issue to Adblock to see if they have a correction.
Load the web page. After the page is loaded, click the down arrow next to the AdBlock icon. Now select Disable on <website>. Reload the page.

I did both suggestions and the videos are now working. Don't know which fix solved the issue but thanks to both of you.

So glad the videos are working now ! But : you mentioned that you contacted AdBlock about this issue - when you get a reaction from them, would you be a dear and let us know ?
