Why can't I use Lastpass with the current version of Firefox? Must I switch browsers?

I have used Foxfire for years and have been a loyal user. I can't remember passwords. I have used Lastpass but now find it is incompatible with the latest version of Foxfire. If I can't use Lastpass with Foxfire I will have to switch browsers which I will hate to do. Bummed!!!

LastPass is very late updating and working on migrating their extension to Webextension.

Others, who 'have had it' with LastPass because of it, switched to Bitwarden and in reviews I see the add-on being called a 'fantastic replacement for LastPass' ..........
