Classic Theme Restorer alternative?
The CTR extension is now deprecated and apparently unportable, and the extremely limited UI customisation that remains is kind of a deal breaker. What are my options now for emulating my previous layout?
(See attached screenshot which, regrettably, is the only recent one I have...)

Is a big giant step backwards to 52.4.1 ESR Version which gets security updates. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/

This is more of a temporary workaround, though; according to the ESR FAQ this'll get me through winter, but in March 2018 the ESR channel will also drop legacy extension support.
Is there really no long-term solution? Will I be SOL next year?
I think it goes longer, and there will be a few more versions. Read that today in a posted question answered by a Moderator...but is lost in the clutter now.
All I want is text instead of icons in toolbars.
