V57 has made the address bar much taller. How to change?
Just updated to V57. I can't say I'm thrilled with some of the changes. It has made the address bar much taller taking away screen space. Anyway to change the height profile? There use top be an addon for this but that is no longer available as is the theme and font changer addon. You really need to bring back both of those.

Are you sure you mean taller, rather than wider? I don’t see much difference in its height.
Chances are your address bar is now a combined address bar / search bar, so re-enabling the separate search bar could help - see Add the Search bar to your Firefox toolbar.
Bringing back features for no longer supported add-ons can be considered as a task for the add-on, not Firefox. As you may have read, the new WebExtensions format is slightly limited with regard to certain features, which is the reason such add-on may not have been migrated. The Theme and Font Changer add-on however still is and should work in 57, but I’m not sure if it will allow you set any sizes mentioned. However, it may be a matter of time before any add-on that does will be availble.
