Moved up to latest browser but can't get Extensions FireFTP or FireSSH to run in a browser tab. If y'all come up with an FTP add-in Extension that works, that would be great!

I am a developer and FTP in a tab as much as I use the web browser. I updated, realized I did not have an FTP, went looking for one and came up empty handed. So I dropped back a version. Until then, I love my old Firefox with website tab, and FTP tab.

Thanks!

hi, i don't think that it's possible to implement a ftp client as a webextension, so i'd recommend looking into standalone 3rd party tools for that purpose, like filezilla or winscp...

It was the Extensions FireFTP and FireSSH that I relied on running in a tab.

As said not possible at this time. Try https://filezilla-project.org/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

File Zilla is nowhere near as good as the FTP add-on that ran on Firefox.

Is there any particular reason why you axed this excellent app?

Do I really have two go back to choosing from a bunch of ordinary performers?
