Thunderbird 52.7 - zoom broken on message list. How to fix?

When listing messages in the Inbox, I could zoom in or zoom out.

I am vision-impaired and being unable to do this makes Thunderbird an excruciating experience as it requires me to get about 8 inches from the screen.

I used to use the Ctrl + Scroll feature to enlarge the screen text. I also used Ctrl + Minus and Ctrl + Plus to zoom.

These currently do NOT work.

Help!! Please!!

Thank you,

Ken Wagner

I really don't think that you have ever been able to use zoom on the message lists. Message text, yes.

The usual way to adjust the size of the text in the menus and lists is to use an add-on. Go have a look at this thread:

I am always surprised that anyone thinks that zooming is an acceptable fix. Are you really happy to have to adjust it every time? Shouldn't it just be right, once and for all?

Thanks the Themes Menu solved the problem. I lost the font default settings after a recent update.

This now works fine.
