Dice-tab problem in firefox 60
The dice-tab panel disappears when you open a new tab. This toolbar appears only the first time Firefox is started or when a new window opened.

Hmm, there was a change in how the new tab page works when you selected a blank page. There used to be a gear/wheel/sprocket icon, but now you have to check in a different place:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste newt and pause while the list is filtered, then scroll way down
(3) If the browser.newtabpage.enabled preference is bolded and "modified" or "user set" to false, double-click it to restore the default value of true
After that change, there may be a delay before the new tab page is restored. You could try a reload (Ctrl+r or Ctrl+Shift+r) if it doesn't come up the next time.

Hi, please backup your Profile : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles
The Refresh feature (called "Reset" in older Firefox versions) can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.
Note: When you use this feature, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.
To Refresh Firefox:
- Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
- Click the menu button , click help and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
- If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
- At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Refresh Firefox" ("Reset Firefox" in older Firefox versions). Click on it.
- Firefox will close. After the refresh process is completed, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
- Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.
Did this fix the problem? Please report back to us!
Thank you.
The proposed solution did not help.
Please help, it's very annoying. ;(
What is dice-tab? Is that a web page or something generated by an add-on?

Default home page
Hi Giceh, if you check on the Preferences page, is there any indication above the home page setting that an extension is modifying your new tab page? I am attaching a screenshot showing where that information would appear.

Note that the search bar on the about:config page supports wildcards and regular expressions.
- about:config?filter=newtab*enabled
