I don't understand any of this stuff. Why can't I just use Firefox browser to go to email & bank? I do not have smart phone and don't want one cause I can't use them. I tried & don't understand. I don't text or any of that stuff. All I,m trying to do is get online this morning to pay my bills and I get all of this stuff instead. How do I just get online? I wasn't having any trouble until this stuff came up telling me to create an acct., then I can't because I don't have anything to connect??? I love firefox browser and hate microsoft.

In Firefox, bookmarks are what other browsers call favorites. A listing of websites you keep a list of so you can return there whenever you want.
Sync is a way to share your profile information with other systems/profiles. Sync is an option to use if you want to use it. If you have no use for it, just shut it down.
