In hotmail on Thunderbird when I send a message, 2 copies appear in sent folder

In Thunderbird, installed today (1st June 2018) I have setup 2 email accounts: gmail and hotmail. I send a message from hotmail, the other recipient received only one copy but 2 copies appear in hotmail sent folder. I have done this sending with both gmail and hotmail outgoing server. So far, sending from gmail account seems normal.

Go to the account settings for your hotmail account to Copies and Folders. Tell Thunderbird not to save sent messages since hotmail is obviously already doing that.
