Response from Thunderbird is "login to server.cox.net failed". I have validated all of the ISP server setting and attempted to send with security off. I have changed the ISP password for the mail account. I am still unable to send

You might have success sending by using smtp.cox.net on port 587, STARTTLS security, authentication = normal password, User name = part of your address before the @.

You might have success sending by using smtp.cox.net on port 587, STARTTLS security, authentication = normal password, User name = part of your address before the @.
