Seems like every other day I can't get my e mail, then it will work for a day or 2, then happens again. Driving me crazy

I keep getting this error message Sending of password for user jan.rich2 did not succeed. Mail server pop.verizon.net responded: [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later. It did this for 3 days then started working. Worked for a day or 2, now it's doing it again. Does it in safe mode also. Any solutions? Help

that is a message from the server saying it has a tempory problem.

Verizon has moved everything to aol which I'm sure you know about. Seems to be effecting quite a few people: http://downdetector.com/status/aol
