When I open Thunderbird, the second window below the email inbox does not open to be able to see the content of the email. The print, delete, etc tl br missing

I logged on today and it is all missing. I am not sure what this is called and why it isn't there. Can you tell me how to get them back

That would be the Message Pane. F8 toggles in on and off and it can also be found under the View Menu on the Menu Bar.
