This is about accessing a local device (NAS: Network-attached storage) via its IP address (192.168.1.206), so isn't related to internet issues.
Does this device use a secure connection?
Did it work with older Firefox versions?
It is possible that its firmware isn't compatible with current Firefox releases, so maybe check if there is an update available.
You can check the connection details in Google Chrome.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?
While you are in safe mode;
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

I installed a self signed certificate for the NAS and access to the NAS is now working.
Mozilla have made a complete stuffup with the SSL/certificate issue.
The installation of a self signed certificate has fixed the NAS access issue.
