Why can't I leave a review on the add-on that I have installed even after having logged in?

Hello markfleener,
Did you follow these steps (?):
When you're on the add-on's page, on the left you'll see "Rate your experience" - (login if you aren't already) then click on at least one star, and you'll see a blue button saying "Write a review"; click on it and start writing .....
If you have done all that and you still can't write a review - please contact the developer(s), using the "Support Email" link.

I've never signed into firefox, and my attempt to leave a review today was the first time in 10 years I've ever signed into the firefox website itself. Googling on how to sign into firefox brings up stuff about syncing and pocket, none of which I've used before.

Hello,
You are signed here on the support forum, which means that you have a Firefox account. Now all you have to do when you're on the add-ons page is signin there (button on the upper right).
The add-ons forum is separate from the support forum, so you need to create an account there as well.

@ FredMcD :
When you have a Firefox account, all you have to do on addons.mozilla.org is to signin (like I did).
