I use this website very often: soapee.com

It doesn't use http, https, or even www.

I cannot access it at all anymore, and cannot add an Exception. I don't care if it doesn't have a certificate, or something is expired - I just want to access the site. There's nothing on the site that is a risk for me - just a bunch of recipes. IE/Chrome are no problem, but I won't use any browser except Firefox.

Can someone help?

You need to use the http:// protocol to access this website. Firefox hides the http:// protocol (i.e. only shows the protocol (https://) if you use a secure connection).

I need to disable Tracking Protection to get the actual web page content.

I get a perpetual circling gear no matter what I try... (pic 1)

I have tried all protocols - none of them work. The only antivirus I have is Win 10 onboard.

When this site DID actually work, it was just "soapee.com"

even if I typed in http:// or https:// it always resolves to just "soapee.com"

I already turned off Enhanced Tracking.

If I force www. - I get 'not found' (pic 2)

I had no problem with http://soapee.com/

And I have no problem accessing soapee.com (without the http://, https://, or www)

Lots of soap bubbles on that site ....

o. m. gee. I turned off my extensions and the site came right up.

Is there a way to tell which extension is the problem?

I really really thought I had tried this already!

So weird... it's the Facebook Container extension. How is that possible? What does it have to do with other websites?

You may find the answer in this article :

Would you be so kind as to mark your last post as Chosen Solution  ?

It's the "Solved the problem" button to the right.

It might be helpful to others with the same problem.

Did you try to click the shield icon and disable Tracking Protection when visiting this website ?

Are you sure that this is really the Facebook extension ?
