With a large number of email message filters in use, how can I sort them such as alphabetically?
I have created a large number of email message filters which move incoming emails into a folder structure. The order of execution is as shown on the screen which is the order in which I randomly created them. With so many I sometimes wonder if I already have a similar filter. How can I sort the filters, for example, into alphabetical order so I can find existing filters easily? I know that would change the execution order. I can rename a filter if I need it in a different location in the alphabetical list. Using move up / down would take a long time. Ideas?

Hello ALbruce.
We have read your message. We try to help you.
The filters you use are good for what you already use them manually. Do you want a solution for overseeing so much of the filters? Maybe an automatic ranker in the form of an add-onn?
We do have an add-on to make this do different automatically. But whether it is the right one in the wishes you want?
And you should use a different version of Thunderbird.

Thanks for the idea. I want the Thunderbird filters to do their job of moving, deleting or forwarding emails as they arrive. It seems to work fine for me. Too well perhaps as I have created so many filters. What i need is a way to see the names of the filters that I have already created in alphabetical order rather than searching through the long list. I could use move up/down but this would take a long time. I used Auto-Mate in the past with Outlook which can sort the filter rules. As a general philosophy I try to run the latest version of software so I would not like to move backward from Thunderbird 68 to Thunderbird 60. All ideas welcome and thanks for your idea of using the add-in.
Hello Allbruce

Greetings Firefox Volunteer.
The add-on you should actually consider is quickFilters, by the same author of quickFolders.
