I can't access account settings, subscribe or unsubscribe on youtube
Whenever I try to subscribe to a channel on youtube I get a message saying my seesion has timed out and with a log in button. pressing this button appears to just reload the page and doesn't change anything. I then tried to manually log out and log back in again but when I press my account logo i get no account options and am unable to log out. I was eventually able to log out by clearing my cookies however the issue returned as soon as I had logged in again. I only have this issue on firefox on windows and the issue continued with a fresh install of firefox so I assume it's an issue with firefox however I am not certain. Has anyone else experienced this problem and does anyone have a fix?

Remove History For One Site {web link}
Open the History Manager <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> H.
In the search bar, enter the name of the site.
Right-click on one of the listings and select
Forget About This Site.
This should remove all information, including any site settings
Do you use a bookmark or are you starting with the main (home) page of this website?
If you use a bookmark to access a specific page then instead navigate to this page starting with the main page or with the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.
Note that using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious.
If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder that stores the cookies got corrupted.
- rename/remove cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and when present delete cookies.sqlite-shm and cookies.sqlite-wal in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed in case cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
- Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Folder/Directory:
Windows: Open Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data
