wrong senders name in correspondents column

Hello

every email i get from paypal includes the same (wrong) name in the correspondents column.

For example, I'll receive a payment from client "Bob Jones", but the correspondent column always says: "John Smith via paypal".

Paypal insists it's not them and suggested that I contact you.

Any ideas?

Solution choisie

remove the paypal address from your address book. Thunderbird references your address book to display the mail lists.
