I have 2 questions....

1- Outlook365 has a nifty little feature... if I reply to an email in my inbox (or anywhere else for that matter), while the sent mail is in actually located in the sent box, it displays the message in the inbox as part of the threaded view. So I can see both sides of the conversation in one location. I think it is just a shortcut as it does not duplicate the emails. Is there a way to replicate this behavior in TB short of moving the email from sent to the inbox (or whatever folder). That does work and will put the replied email in the correct place in the threaded view.

2- when i reply to an email it puts a little purple arrow next to the message in the inbox. So i know i replied to it. Is there a way I can click on something that will take me to my reply. Right now I need to go to the sent box and manually go find it. Seems to me there should be a way to click on that purple arrow or somewhere else and it would take me to my reply.

Thanks

For both questions, right-click a sent or received message, Open Message in Conversation, to see the full thread in a new tab.

See also ThreadVis.

i tried that... and i do not have that option. I see the following 2 options. However i only see that when i have the thread expanded. if the little chevron is pointing to the left, ie the threads are collapsed all i get is "forward as attachment" if i right click - Open Message in new Tab - Open Message in new window

I am running TB 78.5.1 32bit portable edition

I tried to restart TB with addons disabled, but that menu item does not appear.

I tried to restart TB and reset toolbars etc and did not work

In the messages menu, I see the option there, but it is greyed out.

I checked to make sure that I had threaded view enabled. Which it is because i see it in threaded view.

You must have Global Search enabled in Options/General/Indexing to have the Conversation option.

It depends on the number of messages to index. Tools/Activity Monitor should indicate the progress. Restart TB when the indexing is complete and see if Conversation appears in the context menu.
