Thunderbird 78.6 (32x) Windows 10 Pro 20H2 Today I stumbled with a problem, this was not the case before. File extensions for Documents attached to an incoming letter are truncated. So for the Excel file, the extension is .xls_ instead of .xlsx As a result, the document does not tear off. You need to save the file, change the extension in the explorer, only then you can open it. Can someone help solve this problem?

Do you have Kaspersky? The underscore is caused by its attachment filtering.
