The last post on that thread had it correct - this is not so much an issue with Firefox for Android than it is an issue with the way that the webpage has been designed and built.

Okay with you if I post your informative reply to our thread as: Received a reply from Seburo, Moderator and Top 10 Contributor in Mozilla Support. "This is not so much an issue with Firefox for Android than it is an issue with the way that the webpage has been designed and built".
