Firefox Desktop version 97.0, 64 bit, latest update. How can I find where in the bookmark folder tree, a bookmark is, if I have "lost" it, and it is in a bookmark SUB folder? If I use the search bookmarks tool when bookmarks are in the sidebar, it finds the bookmark very well, but doesn't tell me what folder it is in. If I use the edit bookmark tool by clicking the blue star by the address bar on the opened bookmark it will give me the name of the folder, but if that is a subfolder, there is no clue where in the bookmark folder tree it is to be found. I've never managed to find the answer to this one, for several years! Many thanks.

In Firefox 96 and newer you can simply right-click a bookmark search result and click "Show in Folder".
