On OpenBSD, display preference is lost each time FF is updated
I have a home desktop running OpenBSD -current (snapshots), and FIreFox is obtained from the OpenBSD package system.
When I update to a new snapshot and updated packages, the preferred display setting (dim) is lost. I don't have to log in again, but I have to reset the display.
I don't know where that selection is stored, but I'd like to make it persistent.

I would recommend running Firefox from Mozilla. I got off my distro version of back in 2020, it's still installed, but not my daily driver. Try downloading another copy of Firefox, run it from the folder and see if you have the same issue. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release
Thanks, but since this is on OpenBSD, I would be downloading source and compiling. Resetting the display option is rather less of a nuisance than that.
That must be a setting introduced by your distro. I don't have it; I have to use an add-on and bookmarklets. You may have a config file in the software directory which can pre-set preferences. I don't know what file that may be in OpenBSD. In my case (Linux), it is mozilla.cfg. The link below (note: remove blank space) may help.
