Android crash when closing tabs

I keep hoping Firefox will quickly post an update.

For weeks now I have had a major problems. I like to open multiple tabs when doing research into things. I pause that search and need to look up something else. When I go back to close tabs manually, I select 1 or 2 of the 4 I opened and it will crash. I send the report, go back and the tabs are still there. I will close 1 tab, open and existing page I want to keep and it will crash again. No matter what I do I am not allowed to close certain tabs while keeping others. I don't know what the developers are thinking but this is a major problem.
