could you please explain me and maybe also for other interested user the planning about the Bookmark management?

I studied information science, about ontologies and work in IT for 22 year, and am just wondering:

Tagging bookmarks is a recent information need.

Please why is tagging of bookmarks and the search for tags in Firefox Mobile not supported and the Bookmarks Editor in the desktop version is since maybe 20 years so stepmotherly dvceloped?
