Permanently delete recipient
(Using T'bird version 108.0.1) When addressing an email to a recipient, an incorrect email pops up in the "To" area. I've tried editing the address, but the next time I try to email him, the incorrect address shows up again. How do I permanently delete this address? (His email address is correct in my address book.)

That contact with the wrong email address is in one of your address books because the drop down suggestions only come from the address books.
In Address Book Select 'All Address Books' In search type the wrong email address. To the right of the search box is a menu icon - click on it. select 'Address Book' so it shows as a column header. then the wrong email address which you typed will show what address book it is entered into. It may be the 'Collected Addresses'. Then you can locate it and remove it.

Using T'bird version 108.0.1
The latest release version is 102.6.0. Beyond that there are only beta versions, the latest being 109.0b1. So what version exactly are you running?
When addressing an email to a recipient, an incorrect email pops up in the "To" area.
Check your address book(s) for the incorrect recipient email address and fix it there.
Sorry, that was a typo. I was using 102.6.0 (just updated to 102.6.1 today). My address book is correct, but the name still comes up wrong when I type it in the "To" bar. (Actually, the wrong address AND the right address come up...I want to delete the wrong one.)

Awww, jeeze...I looked in my Address Book, but not in "All Address Books"! I just did, and there it was. Thanks SO much for your solution to this irritating problem...that's one more gold star on your chart!
