my yahoo email will not allow me to delete the emails. I can read the email, but I cannot delete them. It was suggested to me by a Yahoo rep to update the firefox browser. I do not know how to do this.

Hi, your Firefox reported itself to be the latest version, so no need to update.

How long have you had this problem in Yahoo! Mail?

Which method(s) have you tried to deleting messages and which ones work/fail? For example:

  • With the message open, click a button or menu item
  • In the inbox, selecting the message by checking a box or clicking an icon and then using a button or menu item to delete the selected message(s)
  • With the message selected in the Inbox, press the Delete key
  • Other method
