Outlook SMTP Issue with Supernova (Ver 115.2.1)
I upgraded to Supernova (Ver 115.2.1) last night and I can not reliably send emails with my Outlook account in Thunderbird.
At first, I got a pop-up window from Microsoft asking me to enter a code to allow Thunderbird to access my Outlook account. I entered the code I received via another email account which is my recovery Outlook account. It worked. So far, so good.
But today, that pop-up window appears briefly (empty) and then just vanishes whenever I try to send something out in my Outlook account in Thunderbird. Now, it no longer appears at all.
My outgoing emails for my Outlook account in Thunderbird now just time out sporadically. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
What is going on?

Thank you! This seems to have worked!
FYI, my SMTP parameters in Thunderbird for Outlook now are:
Description: Outlook.com Server Name: smtp.office365.com Port: 587 User Name: ***************@outlook.com Authentication method: Normal Password Connection Security: STARTTLS

There is a bug on sending issues with outlook and office365. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1839787
One user posted info that they get access when using an app specific password. You would need to change : Authentication Method: Normal Password When asked for password, you would enter the app generated password and select checkbox for Thunderbird to remember it.
Some info at link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/manage-app-passwords-for-two-step-verification-d6dc8c6d-4bf7-4851-ad95-6d07799387e9
Please try this and report back on results. It may get you up and running whilst they work out whats going on.

Some people have reported they can use Authentication Method: OAuth2 But are using 'Server name' : smtp.outlook.office365.com
