When reporting a suspected SPAM email how can I forward the email retaining the full header for analysis?

Environment: MacOS Big Sur 11.7.9 Thunderbird 115.7.0

When I receive a suspect email I'd like to forward that email for analysis. I'd like to forward the suspect email with the full original header, how can that be done? Is it done automatically? Is additional header info added thus obscuring the original header?

Thank you. I'm a "command line" guy so I felt I had to know the full pathname to the subject email. That, as it turns out, was not the most efficient way to approach this. I see now that right clicking on an email brings up a menu and one of the options is "Forward as an attachment". I've "Forward" email often just never "Forward as ..." an "attachment".

I suggest saving the message and then sending as an attachment.
