Firefox 133 Zoom settings not 'sticking"

I'm setting up a new Mac with Sonoma 14.7.1. with Firefox 133.0 (UK English).

Normally my basic zoom setting is 133% with the 'zoom text only' box UNchecked. This has always worked in the past but the settings no long 'stick' and need a reset every time Firefox is restarted.

Firefox is installed in the admin account and I'm running as user, although this has not been a problem in the past.

Is this a known bug or is there a workround for it? All help & suggestions appreciated.

Since my problem still exists and following a restart with FF 128.5esr, zoom settings now refuse to work at all. I've tried with both this and the current 133.X release and whilst with the latter zoom will work for a while, it will at some point simply stop working.

Since there appears to be no solution to this bug, with some regrest I've now given up on Firefox and moved to Vivaldi. This chalks up another with for a Chromium based browser but there we are.
