Can't Upload PDF files on Docusign.com

When I try to upload a PDF file on Docusign.com with Firefox (not i.E., or Safari. Obvious browser problem) the following error message appears: "Our system has encountered a problem when trying to convert this file to PDF. If this problem continues, please try converting this file to PDF by other means, then upload the file again. For more information please see our knowledge base"

The same problem and a possible solution is mentioned in this thread in the DocuSign forums - seems to be a small settings problem in the Adobe Reader plugin.
