In Hotmail a new tab is opened every time i click on a file folder

Using Version 3.6.12. Running XP SP3. Uninstalled and did a clean install. In Hotmail, whenever I click on a folder (for example INBOX, DELETED, JUNK, etc) a new tab is opened in the browser. It does open the file as well, just adds another tab each time. It's like the control key is stuck, but it only does this in Hotmail.

I should also mention that this does not occur in IE.
