when trying to import bookmarks and feeds from IE the import window will eventually say at the top "not responding" , therefore I am unable to import any of my book marks

I went to safe mode and redid everything, shut down and restarted and miracles of miracles i now have the bookmarks AND EVEN THE GOOGLE TOOLBAR I was unable to download...........as well as my roboform pass words etc............Good bye IE and Windows Live mail FOREVER...............
