why does firefox stop responding when im browsing or facebook?

Firefox has been acting weird for quite a while especially when im on facebook. It stops responding and also asks me if i want to navigate away from this page. This happens like every 5 minutes or so with the not responding thing. Its really bugging me.

This issue can be caused by one of the gadgets on the Facebook page.
You will have to check that out by removing each of them until you find the culprit.
If you added or updated gadgets recently than start with those.
