Long-Time firefox user who just recenlty cleared the downloads I have built up, mostly by accident. Can they be recovered? No biggie.
Again, no big deal; it's just that I wanted only one item from the top of the downloads to be deleted from all of the members, and the system only seemed to have the option at the bottom left of clearing them all (by it only says "clear"). So I did this, and they are all apparently gone.
These were mostly items I also have in other files, so no big deal. I therefore simply wonder if they can be recovered after this, or are they basically history?

No, if you cleared the download history then that history is gone, unless you have a backup of the file downloads.sqlite in the Firefox Profile Folder.
