I have all my info on the FF server. When setting up new FF laptops/PCs etc, I have to be VERY careful to select 'Sync Options' to make sure I replace the empty bookmarks/passwords on the new install with the data on the FF servers. Unfortuantley, the default is the desktop/laptop takes presedence over the FF server data.

I do not want to risk my FF server data when I sync my empty Android device for the first time. I want the FF server data to replace any data on my Android device, not combine or God forbid replace the FF server data.

Can anybody tell me for sure what clicking on 'Sync Now' under Sync/Enable Sync on my Thunderbolt will do?

Thanks

Sync now preserves data on both sides of the sync. Data on the phone will be sent to the sync server and the sync server data will be pulled to the phone. This is non-destructive.
