Can I try out FF4 while continuing to use FF3?
I look at the forum and see all sorts of problems being talked about when people make the switch from FF3 to FF4, and I don't want the aggravation. So I'd like to try out FF4 and work my way into it while still being able to use FF3 which I know works well and doesn't give me any hassles.
I'm afraid that if I install FF4 then I'll no longer be able to use FF3 and I will have to fiddle with FF4 for days and days to get it to work properly, and during that switch-over period I won't be able to access the internet as easily as I can now with FF3, and will lose valuable time and get frustrated and wish I hadn't made the switch in the first place. I've had that problem in the past when upgrading an earlier version of FF and it was very frustrating indeed.
So to put the question again, can I install FF4, but be able to continue using FF3 while getting FF4 configured and fine-tuned with all the features, layout etc. that I want (a process which, in my experience, always takes more time than one would have thought)?

Hmm... Things are getting interesting. I hadn't thought of updating to 3.6 (I have 3.5.19) because Mozilla only ever talks about 4. Would it be worthwhile for me to go to 3.6?
I have the 3.6.17 & have loved it since I took the download.. I'm not moving to the FF4 until its cooked & ready to go.. That's my story & I'm sticking to it.. I just thought you might be interested in that article.. I sent it to my son who is an IT at a government contractor in Washington & waiting for his input..

I think I had that problem with the sizing of the "edit this bookmark" window when updating to 3.6 some time back, so maybe I'll just stick with 3.5 for now and take the plunge to 4 when everything is sorted out.
