How do i check for viruses etc using firefox as i dont seem to be able to find it

I seem to be having problems with the screen freezing and not being able to exit,so i assume it is a security issue,but i cannot find a tab or anything to check for viruses or any security,please send info how to remedy the problem thanks.

Firefox doesn't include a virus scanner.

I suggest you download this one which is very good: http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download

There are a couple programs on the Android market that are virus scanners. But there is not any integration in Firefox mobile. The value of anti-virus on Android is still dubious at this time.

I use "Lookout" and have been very satisfied with it. You can get it from the Market Place.
