FireFox wont run on my EVO after installing Android Firmware update for 6-2011.
I installed FF for my HTC EVO when Firefox 4 first came out and it worked great. My phone said there was a firmware update ready to install. After the update FF would do one thing and only one thing CRASH and ask to send a report that it can't send either.
The tech's at my local sprint store played with my phone for a few hours trying different things to maybe make FF work. Well for that matter any internet connection, wifi, 3g, 4g the default browser, Google search, FF would always come up and say sorry Firefox has CRASHED.
Sprint's comment on this is that Firefox mobile does not support the android platform at this time.
So i am saddened to say the fix for my problem was to uninstall Firefox mobile, as this did fix my problem :(

FF Mobile never crashed until the Firmware update.

What version of Firefox are you using? 4.01? If so, please try a newer release. 5.0 is out in the Market now. The Aurora version has several crash fixes too:

You can run Aurora side-by-side with 4.0.1 or 5.0 release.

i am not a front line beta tester, so Aurora is out, and the web site said Aurora is for desktop only. I will use known working beta versions.... you say new beta's a available but they are not / were not there last night.
