I think you are referring to it's asking you to close Firefox? When it asks you to do this do you close Firefox? If not then try closing Firefox.

How do i close firefox? It is asking me to switch off firefox. How do I do that?

If Firefox is running then you can click the X in the red box at the top right. This should stop the Firefox process. If you don't have an open Firefox window and Firefox is still running you can Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE on your keyboard --> Start Task Manager --> Go to the processes tab --> Right click on Firefox.exe and hit end process or end process tree. Let me know if this helps.
