Problem printing to Brother MFC-7480W: second and subsequent pages lose formatting and do not print correctly or completely. Have to resort to Safari. What to do? Or is it bug?

That's it really. The page format and printer settings are lost after the first page which always prints properly. The subsequent pages never print properly. It's the font and leading that changes. The font gets larger and the leading increases proportionately. The result is a page printed, usually with the words/ lines missing from the top of the page and those that are printed run off to the right so that the ends of each line are missing.
