The fafsa.gov site does not currently support Firefox newer than version 3.6.x. Firefox Portable is not produced by Mozilla (but is based on Firefox released versions) and is not supported on this site -- has its own support forum (see below). Firefox Portable installs in a separate folder on your hard drive so that it does not interfere with your currently installed Firefox version settings or personal information (bookmarks, passwords, etc.). I want to go back. My virus protection is also incompatible. I use Avast so are some of my other extensions. I do not like it. I want to put it back the way it was. It is also running slower. I do not like it. How do I put it back?
