Cursor starts at the address bar instead of on the google page when I open a new tab. I use the new tab extension so I can open up Google.com whenever I open a new tab. The cursor does not go to the Google search when a new tab is opened. It goes to the address bar. Does it at work on my XP computer and was able to duplicate it on my home Windows 7 with the latest Firefox 8.0.1. The only thing I found online was a hacked add-on. Is that the best that can be done?

That is an issue with that extension that has been reported before.
You can either accept it or disable the extension until there is an update that fixes it.
