walkingdead, are you using the en-US language of Firefox? as almost all other languages (I think fr does also) do not come with a dictionary due to license reasons.
ieSpell is for Internet Explorer and various shells for IE.
I take it you are a fan of the AMC show.

See Tools > Options > Advanced : General: Browsing: "Check my spelling as I type"
- Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.
- Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "Tools > Options" if the menu bar is hidden.
It still didn't work. The spell check that I want to use is called ie spell, maybe it's not design to work with Firefox I just don't know.
The spell check in fire fox would be great if it gave you some spelling solutions but it just underlines the mispelled word and I need something that will give you sample words to figure out the correct one to use like ie spell check.
I not a very good speller, after I typed this I enabled spell check and found 7 misspelled words!! I had to ask my family how to spell them just to get the red line off. but 3 words still showing
Do you have a dictionary installed and selected?
- You can see which dictionary is selected if you right-click in a text area and open the Languages submenu.
- Open the "Add Dictionaries" link to install a dictionary if you do not have one.
- Make sure that [X] "Check Spelling" in the right-click context menu is check-marked.
You can look here for dictionaries:
